This ring mirrors the belt of Orion. Seen in the sky for tens of thousands of years, many ancient cultures watched for this constellation with reverence, because as it rose is carried the promise of spring, new life and rebirth. It pointed the way home for many ancient peoples creation stories.

Some of the most prominent religions today have their simple roots in an ancient cosmological story involving the re-birth and rise of the star Sirius, announced by the coming of the "three kings" of Orions belt.
