Handcrafted in solid gold, this luxurious pendant holds a deep red garnet in a soft bezel setting on a delicate chain. Its name, Celyn, is Welsh for "holly," one of the ancient Celts' most revered plants. Evergreen through the coldest and darkest months of the year, its bright red berries a small defiance of the dark, holly became a lasting symbol of protection, endurance, and quiet strength across the Celtic world.

Garnet takes its name from the Latin granatus, "seed," a nod to its resemblance to pomegranate seeds. Since ancient Egypt, it has been regarded as a stone of purification and regeneration, worn by warriors for focus and protection, and carried by travelers as a talisman for safe passage. Garnet is known to stimulate the root chakra, grounding the body while igniting passion, courage, and quiet vitality.
Our Materials
Every Catori Life piece is ethically handcrafted in Santa Fe, New Mexico and New York City from 100% recycled metal. No newly mined metal, ever.
Bronze: 100% recycled, hand polished solid bronze
Sterling silver: recycled solid sterling silver. Some of our silver chains are rhodium plated to keep from tarnishing. Please be sure to see product details.
Gold: solid recycled 10k, 14k or 18k gold, SCS Global certified. Never plated or filled.
Nickel and allergen free. Where a chain or hook is gold fill or gold vermeil, we note it on the product.
Care: bronze and silver warm to a soft patina over time. Polish with a soft cloth to bring back the shine.

Each made-to-order piece is crafted just for you. Please allow 2 to 5 weeks for us to make and ship your order.

Made-to-order pieces are final sale and can’t be exchanged or returned. If a bronze version is available, we recommend ordering it first to make sure the size and design are perfect for you. You can then exchange the bronze piece and apply it to your made-to-order version.
