The Yemayá Ring is a sculptural relic cast in solid recycled sterling silver, crowned with a luminous freshwater pearl. Its organic, ocean-worn band encircles the gem like a wave curling toward the shore. Each one is uniquely textured, as though it has surfaced from the depths, carrying a message just for you.

The Myth of Yemayá
Yemayá is the great Orisha of the ocean: goddess of the sea, mother of all life, and protector of women. In Yoruba and Afro-Caribbean traditions, she is both fierce and nurturing, a divine force who washes away sorrow and births creation. Her essence lives in saltwater, in the moon’s pull, in every ebb and flow.
Pearls are among her sacred offerings. Formed from the sea’s depths and softened by time, they symbolize emotional wisdom, feminine power, and the beauty of becoming.

Our Materials
Every Catori Life piece is ethically handcrafted in Santa Fe, New Mexico and New York City from 100% recycled metal. No newly mined metal, ever.
Bronze: 100% recycled, hand polished solid bronze
Sterling silver: recycled solid sterling silver. Some of our silver chains are rhodium plated to keep from tarnishing. Please be sure to see product details.
Gold: solid recycled 10k, 14k or 18k gold, SCS Global certified. Never plated or filled.
Nickel and allergen free. Where a chain or hook is gold fill or gold vermeil, we note it on the product.
Care: bronze and silver warm to a soft patina over time. Polish with a soft cloth to bring back the shine.

Each made-to-order piece is crafted just for you. Please allow 2 to 5 weeks for us to make and ship your order.
